Dit kon maar door de charismatische zangeres Éva Gauthier tot stand zijn gekomen...". Heerlijk concert en eerbeton aan een fascinerende muzikale persoonlijkheid. Muziek: Ravel, Gershwin. Femke IJlstra (saxofoon) en Celia García-García (piano) hebben elkaar leren kennen in het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest en ze hebben samen opgetreden in o.a. Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wonderfeel, Cacaofabriek, Parkstad Theater, Radio 4.... Aantrekkelijke programma, vlotte podiumpresentatie. Ze garanderen rekening te houden met de grootte van de zaal.

September 10, 2019Celia and Femke know how to wow a crowd! They performed 2 sets of 20 minutes for ~20 of my friends aged 25-35. All my friends unanimously loved the concert. The combination of Gershwin and romantic music is genius; it makes for such a versatile and interesting concert. The quality of the music was extremely high, even for my standards. The musicians did not miss a single note throughout the performance. They have clearly been playing together for a while; they connect throughout the performance and you can see they enjoying the gig! If I would have to name one point for future improvement, they could be more responsive during the inquiry phase.
